Workshops and Monthly Meeting Programs

At most meetings, we offer some type of learning program.  Sometimes there is a small suggested donation to cover supplies for hands on activities.  Visitors are welcome to attend and participate in our meeting programs.

Every meeting, our raffle coordinator brings in items donated to the Guild for fundraising.  Yarn, books, equipment, magazines, and other fiber arts items are then auctioned.  Ticket prices: 1 for $0.50, 5 for $2, or 12 for $5.  It is a thrilling way to support the club and get items you want or need to support your habit. Visitors are welcome to participate.

The Guild library contains many of the most useful books and videos about all of the fiber arts.  Many are historical and/or out of print. They are available to members to check out.

There is a treasure trove of equipment for weaving and spinning available to members for rental through the Guild. These items give you a chance to try out specific brands or types of equipment that are typically expensive to buy. You won't waste your money on something that doesn't work for you if you try it out first!

Whether joining our meetings by Zoom or in-person, share your successes and challenges by bringing in your projects and telling us something about them. Not only does this encourage others to explore your craft, but it shows us all the beauty and utility of fiber.

One of our ongoing programs is to document the history of our Guild and the experiences of our members. Some of them have been active for decades and have a lot to say about their fiber arts.
